Maths Review

A special place were I would like to take my family.

The beach,my house,my cousins house and in Tonga those are where the special times happen. I wonder where are your special times at that what i’m gonna be talking about.

The beach is one of my favorite places to go with my family and by family I mean my cousin’s my aunt and uncles my grandpa and nanna and my siblings but sometimes my nana and grandpa doesn’t come because they might be busy.

So when it's sunny it will be hot and then we will call our cousins if they wanna come to the beach with us because it is sunny and as always they will say yes because when we call them they are always free.

When we get to the beach as always we eat first i don’t know why but eat then we get in the water when me and my cousins get in the water we straight away go to the deep side and do bombs.

We had great fun with my cousins and just remember when you go to the beach always go with an adult or at least someone because when you drown there someone to help you.

Cross country

Do you like running?
Well, some people think it just to run to see who comes first, second or third but actually it just to keep you fit and healthy that what running is all about.

Well on Monday our school had the cross country at 1.00 pm my friends wore tutu's and their house color t-shirt and neckless lei but in their color and they wore ribbons with their culture flags I just wore a blue t-shirt and Nike shorts and yellow ribbons because I'm yellow and my two friends were red and yellow.

I and my friends were waiting for our turn because we were lined up in our year and our gender I was in the year 8 girls row with my friends. I and my friends wait nervously because we were nervous to run.

It was our turn to run we were all ready to run when we heard the word go we all started sprinting then we starting jogging because we started to run out of breath and then I caught to my friend then we stopped for 15 seconds then we started running.

Once we got to the end me and my friend finished off together we all felt so proud of ourselves because we ran two laps and then I saw one of my friends that 's already back and I asked her what did she come and she said 2nd I was so proud of her.

Today my group was reading Team work we had task to do we had to answer question about what happen in the story.

How to make new friends at a new school

How to make new friends at a new school

Don’t be afraid to make the first move if you see someone that interests you, don’t be afraid to talk to them. Just introduce yourself to them and be yourself.

First you greet yourself and introduce who you are and then you try and get to know them or you can find someone that has no friends.

Then join clubs like Netball,Rugby or basketball or all sorts of sport but the sport your good at so that people will think your great and then they will be friends with you and just have fun.

Or you can sit next to people in your class that you don’t know well or you haven't spoken to yet and that try and talk to them and find out more about them.

Just know it will take time to make friends because it is hard to talk to them or even say a thing to them so just open yourself up to make friends.

Do you think saying mean words like ugly, rude, disrespectful, hate, and bullying is being a good friend? That's why I'm going to be explaining what is a good friend.

What is a good friend?
For me, I think being a good friend is being loyal and accepting them for who they are during the bad times and the good times.

To be a good friend is to always be honest and loyal because most people want friends who are trustworthy. If your a good friend to your friends then they can trust you with their secrets.

A good friend will show a genuine interest in what is going on in your life, what you have to say, and how you think and feel.

Just always be nice and respectful so you can get good friends and then you will have no drama.I have good friends who are respectful,nice and funny. I wonder if you think your friends are good friends?.

Immersion Assembly

Immersion Assembly

On the first day of school we had an immersion assembly. When I first walked inside the hall it smelled like fresh seafood there was prawns,fish,john fish,kaha wai,muscles they all looked delicious. If you wanted to have some you would have to sit up and fold your legs and then they will ask you would you some if you didn’t want some then say no thanks and if you do want some say yes please.

Our theme was something in the water each team had to perform an item first it was team 1 there movie was about sofa it stand for solution for animal team 2 movie was about how you can’t feed bread to the ducks when there in the water but you only can feed them when their only out on the grass.

Then it was team 3 turn and there one was about moana trying to find someone to help her take care of the sea. Team 4 movie was about what was in the water and figuring what does it do. Then it came to team 5 they sang a song about what was in the cell it went a cell to a nucleus nucleus to a chromosome a chromosome to DNA DNA to a gene.

Technology wood

I have chosen to make a box for myself because it's easy and this is the best choice for me because it will be used to put my money and Jewerlley inside if not my money and Jewerllry will get lost. I am gonna put my box in my room because it will be safe up in my cupboard. For this project I will have to consider me making a box. Term 2 DMIC Problems

Today our task was to read the book and answer question. Then after that we had to create a scene that we think the family is living in but i haven't done it yet but i'm gonna post soon.

Guest speakers

Today we had Jason,Fiona and Tanielu to come and tell us about their journey. Jason was a builder and fiona was a casketeers and lastly Tanielu was a rugby player who played for the blue's. After they each told us about their journey we askeds some question.

Today we had to do this task and at the end we had to draw a tow truck using google drawing.

For this task we had to figure out if we were a sqaure or if we were a rectangle. I was not a sqaure because my width and my height we not the same if they were the same then i will be a sqaure. I'm a rectangle because my width and height are not the same.

Our first task was to get in a group of four to work out the first qeustion. For the first question we disagree because for our working we did the panikeke first we added the number's which was 85

then we added the pineapple ice cream in total it was 75

next we added chop suey it was 65

and last raw fish it's total was 55

so the most popluar food is panikeke.
